Everett-Fox School of Dance
About EFSD
Est. 2007
Everett-Fox School Of Dance is a thriving dance school based in the
small village of Misterton, affiliated to International Dance Teachers
Association (I.D.T.A.), run by Tracey Everett-Fox. EFSD opened on 14th
May 2007, firstly holding a couple of classes at Misterton School &
Misterton Methodist Hall, and then eventually moving into a renovated
studio on Fox Covert Lane Misterton.
On 6th August 2024 we took over the lease of the 'Misterton Centre'
The building is 120 years old and had stood still and empty for a long
period of time.
Miss Tracey secured the lease on this building and after renovating the
building, on 10th November 2024 ,our new building was officially
opened. Our new premises houses a new purpose built studio with
sprung floor downstairs. Upstairs we have our costumes supplies, office
and our new well being area.
If you head over to our facebook page you can see photos of the
progress of the building
We currently offer children’s dance classes in Ballet, Tap, Theatrecraft and
Gymnastics/Acrobatic Dance and Contemporary Modern.
Our aim is to provide a stimulating and enjoyable environment for each
pupil where they can learn a variety of dance skills along with
confidence, self-esteem and life skills too!
Every pupil has the opportunity to star in our successful sell-out annual
shows which are held in professional theatres locally! They can also
participate in exam and award sessions, and participate in other
performances, such as London’s’ West End and Disneyland Paris.
Our dance school is just a big family, and we welcome anyone who
wants to be part of it.
We are constantly striving to give as many opportunities to our pupils to
help grow their confidence and self esteem and to have fun within their
dance career, in addition to them increasing their skills in their chosen
dance style.
