Meet Mondays 10am at the Church Room
Misterton Poppy Group
Now in its second year the group of crocheters and knitters either meeting together on Mondays or working at home and want to produce commemorative displays for Remembrance Sunday each year.
Misterton School pupils and the Rainbows contributed material poppies to the display.
The group decided 2025 their focus this year would be purple poppies to commemorate service animals who supported and continue to support our forces during conflicts and peace.
At the Misterton Make, Bake and Grow show we will be having a competition to give it a name.
Come and join us at the show to join in the fun at Misterton Primary School 14th September 2025.
We will also be displaying a flock of pigeons and a horse.

The Chapel Gates were also covered in poppies

In 2024 panels of poppies dressed a stand on Windmill gardens and the war memorial was draped in poppies.
